About the Cover
Cover: Hydrologist Dr. Ali Fares of the University of Hawaii takes undisturbed soil samples around access tubes to calibrate and test capacitance and neutron scattering sensors at the South Australian Research and Development Institute, Barossa Valley, South Austrailia. The calibrations pertained to water content measurements of a fine-textured vadose zone with variable soil bulk density. Details are in A. Fares, P. Buss, M. Dalton, A.I. El-Kadi, and L.R.
